History of MBP AUSTRALIA

MBP Australia (formerly Mt. Barker Products) was established in 1949 as a small ferrous foundry manufacturing hardware and rail car components.

During the early 1950’s the foundry began to concentrate more on Copper Alloys, mainly Brass, to manufacture and supply fittings to the local plumbing industry. Originally based in the township of Mount Barker, 40km from Adelaide, SA, the company commenced development of a new “greenfields” site at Murray Bridge in 2001.

Now based in Murray Bridge, 80 km east of Adelaide, the company remains a privately owned family business.

Today MBP Australia has grown to better serve its customers in the water storage and rotational moulding industries throughout Australia and the South Pacific Region with a much expanded range of non-ferrous and plastic water tank fittings.

MBP Australia also has many OEM customers, from a variety of industries, with emphasis on small to medium sized production runs. Castings in various Non Ferrous Alloys using various processes means we can offer the best solution for most requirements.

MBP Australia is “your best connection!”
