The Foundry Process
MBP Australia operates a number of different processes within the Foundry.
- Green Sand Moulding - for lower volume, lower set up costs
- Shell Moulding - for higher volume, larger parts and improved surface finish
- Gravity Die Casting - for Aluminium and Zinc Alloys - medium volumes and good surface finish
- Low Pressure Die Casting for Brass - for higher volumes, superior surface finish and lower unit cost
The Machine Shop
MBP Australia operates a fully equipped machine shop, incorporating the latest CNC Lathes and Vertical Machining Centres.
The majority of new tooling can also be manufactured in-house, which saves time and money.
