MBP Australia (formerly Mt. Barker Products) was established in 1949 as a small non-ferrous foundry to manufacture and supply fittings to the local plumbing industry. Originally based in the township of Mount Barker, 40km from Adelaide, SA, the company remains a privately owned family business.
Today MBP Australia has grown to better serve its customers in the water storage and rotational moulding industries throughout Australia and the South Pacific Region with a much expanded range of non-ferrous and plastic tank componentry.
While the company specialises in the manufacture and distribution of tank components, we also provide casting and machining of products to specific customer requirements, offering design assistance, pattern-making facilities, and fast turn around through effective production methods.
Having recently invested in further technology improvements at our new facility in Murray Bridge, South Australia, the company offers quality and efficiency for a variety of casting and machining requirements.
MBP Australia has installed a quality system based on AS3902/ISO9002. All aspects of the operation fall within this quality system ensuring the customer receives the best possible product and service within the bounds of best manufacturing practices.
